Book Review on Wonder!

Personally, I loved this book. It was amazing and also it was very realistic. I could really feel how August felt, his characteristics and how he looked.

August is a 10-year-old boy who lives with his family on a quiet street in America. He has facial differences meaning his face doesn’t look like any other 10-year-olds. He has been homeschooled his whole life but is now faced with the challenge of going to middle school. That’s hard even for any kid, but his family helped him through it. It was a bumpy road but all that matters is that he gets through it. He meets kind people, popular people and people in the between! 

This story tells his progression through the grade as August’s confidence grows. At some points it got tough but he got tougher! He truly believes he is just an ordinary kid!

I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good read! It’s for kids aged 9 or above. It also has a movie but I would read the book first.
